Engineering ServicesCouncil maintains a rural road network of 1288kms and also maintains the roads within the towns and villages of Warren, Nevertire and Collie. Additionally, Council carries out road maintenance on 72kms of the Oxley Highway between Collie and Nevertire for the Roads and Traffic Authority under a full contract arrangement known as the Single Invitation Maintenance Contract (SIMC). Council's objective is to undertake roads and bridges maintenance and construction to acceptable and appropriate community standards in a cost effective, efficient and safe manner.
