EOI - Pre-Approved Contractor List
Warren Shire Council wishes to develop a list of pre-approved contractors for urgent or day-to-day tasks where a quotation process is not involved.
The purpose of the list is to ensure Council holds relevant documentation with regards to contractors, which will prevent delays should urgent works arise and ensure the contractors are aware of thier responsibility to comply with Council requirements. Council is therefore seeking expressions of interest from contractors to be included on Council's pre-approved list. To be pre-approved the contractor must provide Council with details of their worker's compensation arrangements, public liability and/or professional liability as applicable and OHS training/qualifications. They would also be required to acknowledge that they understand the Council's contractor compliance guidelines. Other information my be required depending on the trades involved. The pre-approved list will only apply to the following trades: - Electricians
- Builders
- Air-conditioning servicing
- Earth-moving contractors
If you are a contractor in one of the above trades and you are interested in being considered to be included onthe pre-approved contractor list please will you submit a written expression of interest to the General Manager, Warren Shire Council, PO Box 6, Warren.
